The Wisconsin Rugby Sports Complex

Welcome to the premier venue for rugby in the state of Wisconsin. Located just East of Madison at 513 Clark St. in the Village of Cottage Grove, the Wisconsin Rugby Sports Complex is comprised of two championship rugby fields and two tournament fields.

The land is owned outright, and the fields have been in use for 1 year. Upcoming events include: 2011 Stuart Daily 10s Tournament on August 13th and 2011 Big 10 College Rugby 7s Tournament on August 27th.

This has been a $500,000 project so far; with funds raised from within the Madison rugby community. When fully developed, the Complex will include public restrooms, a concession facility and bleacher seating; locker rooms for teams and referees; and kitchen and social facilities. The Complex will be a top sight for state-wide, regional and national rugby events. We will also regularly host international touring sides.

We believe that sport is truly a metaphor for life. It shows its lifelong value in the lessons learned and relationships forged through it. We value teamwork, the taking responsibility for ones self and being responsible to others. Sport teaches us how to deal with success, with failure, and about moving on. Rugby is our sport, and we revel in it’s camaraderie and the pure joy of the game!
